Context
The client arrived with informal drafting and a clear product intent — but nothing fabrication-ready. Proportions, wall thickness, and assembly details were still open questions.
How it was made
ONGO Centre treated the engagement as a co-manufacturing story: clarify the drafting, lock a professional 2D drawing set, print iterative prototypes in-house, then finish the approved form for presentation and next-step production.
Outcome
A documented drawing package, an approved prototype, and a finished sample that the client could photograph, pitch, and iterate toward short-run manufacturing.
Process
Step-by-step fabrication and delivery — the service path clients review before they request similar work.
Step 1
1 · Client drafting intake
We collected sketches, reference photos, and dimensional notes. The goal was not to redraw for beauty — it was to understand function, feel, and what “finished” meant for this product.
Step 2
2 · Professional 2D technical drawing
Drafting was translated into clean orthographic views: dimensions, tolerances, and material callouts. This gave the client a shared language for approval before any print material was spent.
Step 3
3 · 3D print prototype
With the drawing set locked, we printed the first prototype in-house. Fit, proportion, and surface read were reviewed under studio lighting — then a second pass refined lid seating and wall thickness.
Step 4
4 · Finished work
The approved prototype received finishing treatment and presentation photography. The client left with a tangible product sample plus the drawing package for future co-manufacturing runs.
